Doug Vitale is known on this page as the "Dancing Fool" because at the One People's Rally, he was seen dancing to the music of those opposed to the Nationalist Movement's Rally, which included Inspecter 7, Tupac, and other non-WP acts. At the time he was a loyal lapdog for Richard Barrett's group, working on the website, and making flyers for the cause. On July 24, 2000 participants of the One People's Rally held a vigil outside the Morris County Courthouse to support the ten defendants arrested that day. "Doug Vandinan", which is the name he goes by on the street, was also there passing out flyers calling for their swift prosecution. An altercation ensued that almost resulted in Vitale getting the hell beat out of him, were it not for police breaking up the melee. We saw him a few times after that, once during an attempt by John Kucek to hold an "awards ceremony" at the Manville, NJ VFW hall, which cancelled the event, and at the 2001 attempt by Barrett to hold a march, that he left before it ended. Since then, he has been pushing neo-Nazi ideas on various WP discussion boards, and was seen in various WP events in New Jersey. One was Elmwood Park, NJ, where he attended a meeting at the J.O.U.A.M. hall in March, 2003. Anti-Racist Action and other groups demonstrated outside that meeting. He was also seen Oct. 3 of that year at the counter-demostration against the Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ. The Southern Poverty Law Center published a two page photo spread of the Nazis that attended in their publication Intelligence Report. Vandinan was among them.
